About 4 Months ago, at the 12'000 Km service, the garage where I bought the Savage
sent her back to the main dealer because of this leaking head gasket.
They just tightened down the head!!
Today, 1 service (18'000 Km) and at a total of > 20'000 Km the cylinder *foot* gasket blew
and spread oil all over my boots, legs and everything else lower than the cylinder!!!!
The mechanic had said at the time that he was not happy with what they had done,
but as she is still under garantee we'd wait and see!
Luckily the garantee in Switzerland is 2 years no mileage limit.
I don't know what the proper solution is, but I just thought I'd warn you.
